Launch of the FORCE project: SRHR education for nurses, midwives and health workers

On Thursday 19th of September, the launch of the FORCE project took place in Bamako, Mali. The FORCE project is a new project belonging to the ‘Orange Knowledge Programme’, of Nuffic, funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The FORCE project is a unique collaboration of public and private education institutes to integrate sexual and reproductive health of adolescents and youth into the curriculum for nurses, midwives, and other health workers. The ultimate objective of this project is to improve sexual and reproductive health of youth and adolescents in Mali.

CINOP works together in the implementation of the FORCE project with a diverse range of partners in Mali and the Netherlands, amongst which the KIT Royal Tropical Institute. All partners bring their specific expertise to the table. CINOP will support the project through strengthening the strategic planning and results-based management capacity of the health schools and the Association of Private Health Schools (AESP). In addition, CINOP will play a crucial role in implementing e-learning activities.
